Our agile team of over 100 is comprised of specialty-trained agent support staff and high-ranking executives deeply focused on group travel, featuring some of the industry’s top talent in group sales, support and operations. Together, this department boasts over a century’s worth of experience; separately, each individual provides unique insight and deeply specialized skills that ensure that every base is covered.

Charles Mest, Jr.
Senior Director, Strategic Business Development
A 25-year veteran of the wholesale travel industry, Charlie is committed to growing and enhancing the business of TI Groups through creating strategic initiatives, keen business development, and providing straightforward leadership to the Groups Department. His emphasis on service is a point of pride and an inspiration to his team; in fact, one of his key legacies at Travel Impressions has been the launching of the Bethlehem, PA call center in 1995, a resource that he assisted in building through effective recruitment and management.
Previously, Charlie served as Senior Director of Sales for Travel Impressions for 15 years; however, the breadth of his career has spanned from Director of Sales and Marketing for Apple Vacations to Regional Sales Director for MLT Vacations, where he was responsible for introducing MLT and its brands, Delta Vacations and United Vacations, to the East Coast. Other professional achievements have included the start-up of the AAA National Agreement with TI in 1993—a partnership that remains in place today—and a deep understanding of consortia/host account management, charter sales, and, of course, strategic management and consistent incremental growth of group sales. In terms of personal achievements, his two children, Elliott and Emily, with wife Dr. Carol Gullo Mest, top Charlie's list.
Associate Director of Groups
A loyal member of the TI family for 18 years, Jill has been instrumental in the development of TI Groups, expanding the department from a staff of nine to the juggernaut team of over 100 we have today. Under her leadership, increasingly greater levels of high-touch service and the introduction of processes that align with customer, supplier and TI goals alike have been key focuses; these standards will continue to rise as she works to create the very best combination of travel partner and employee experiences. When she’s not blending exemplary service with fantastic group vacation planning, she’s busy mixing it up in the kitchen, cooking great meals for her husband and family.
Senior Manager, Group Sales
Having spent 25 years in the travel industry, Felecia knows the importance of exceptional service and competitive pricing, and imparts this emphasis to her group sales team every day. Her strong belief that “positive energy generates positive results” is a testament that a can-do attitude can move mountains, and she and her skilled staff of 33 commit deeply to “doing anything—and everything—possible” for TI Groups travel partners. She finds it especially rewarding to get to know the agents that she works with, learn about new accounts and contribute to growing their group travel business, knowing she was able to play a role in their resulting success. When she is not servicing her loyal customers, she continues to play a variety of roles; she finds great joy in theatre and performs locally in her community.
Supervisor, Group Sales
The best foundations stand the test of time, and Kristen’s has been built strong, with ten years of expertise in providing quick turnarounds and adept customer service in Reservations to the past eight in the Groups Department. A fixture at Travel Impressions Groups trade shows nationwide, she enjoys sharing her experiences as she assists in training travel agents on our company’s processes, as well as the books she gets to read on her way to her next adventure or returning to her two children, two grandchildren and friends at home.
Manager- Group Support
Erin’s perspective as she trains the TI Groups sales staff comes from a wide range of experience, stemming from 26 years working in travel. Her background includes stints at Fling Vacations, Globetrotters, Apple Vacations, World Class Vacations, and GOGO Worldwide Vacations in positions that have spanned from Reservations and Land Operations to retail sales management and business development. She brings all of this insider knowledge and best practices to TI Groups, streamlining processes to fast-track turnaround for our clients, assisting with escalating any wrinkles with suppliers, and helping the team meet customer service goals and expectations. As a mother of two teenagers, it’s no surprise that this role of education and guidance is one that comes naturally.
Supervisor, Group Support
With over 16 years of experience under her belt, Jennifer knows how to think outside the box when it comes to supporting her customers. She exercises her creativity by meeting challenges with innovation, keeping the best possible outcome for TI Groups’ travel partners at the forefront at all times to deliver experiences that are truly exceptional. This attitude is one that her team of 20 has rallied to; her department’s staff regularly goes out of their way to provide remarkable service and speedy responses to all of TI Groups’ customers, treating them like the friends and family she so enjoys spending her free time with.
Senior Manager, Group Supplier Relations & Finance
A dozen of Ginger’s 30 years of experience in the travel industry have been devoted to TI Groups, where she has served as Manager, Senior Manager and Director, Group Sales. In her current role, she is the primary liaison for our Groups department and all hotels and ground operators, negotiating new and additional amenities on behalf of our customers—all to provide added value and enhanced experiences for our travelers. Her expertise also extends to sales, support, operations and finance, and her positive partnerships with the staff she mentors, travel agents, suppliers and group operators are the main reasons she enjoys her job so very much. Having been with TI Groups for nearly half of her career, growing the business more than tenfold during her ongoing tenure, Ginger still considers this department her “baby,” even though she has grandbabies and children of her own, with whom she loves to travel.
